Rice beats Texas Tech (forfeit), loses to LSU - off to Ireland
Rice's 31 to 3 loss at home against Texas Tech turns into 28-0 victory for Rice as Tech Tech forfeits for using an illegal player. It was the last home game of the year. The second side game was a 10 to 10 tie. The following weekend Rice fell to LSU on the road. I won't repeat the score to avoid graphic language - it wasn't pretty. LSU will win the TRU (Texas) this year.
This Spring Break the Rice rugby team traveled to Ireland! The tour is a rugby training camp of sorts with various games and practices held by trained professionals. More photos to come soon.
